We are Karen and Cole, the founders of Studio217, LLC! We are two artists/designers based just south of Baltimore, MD. We started the studio in 2015 after an exhibition of Mister Mart (our first game) at Indiecade in New York City. We’ve been making games together ever since.

We love to make games that make people laugh, whether they’re playing or watching! We explore mediums, often using them in new or unintended ways, and make games that fit to their strengths. We’ve taken our games to many different exhibitions since our start, such as MAGFest, PAX East, PlayNYC, The Smithsonian, and more!
